Rodrique Hallema (1972) is founding owner of Dutch Telco ‘de Belfabiek’. Initially established with the ambition to introduce the benefits of toll free and premium rate telephone numbers to the Dutch market, the company quickly developed into a successful telecom frontrunner by providing clients with clever solutions to communication challenges. Because of his longtime passion – Hallema took up deejaying when he was fifteen – and his innovative take on telecom technologies, he is sometimes referred to as ‘Telecom’s Tiësto’.
Hallema, who previously held Senior positions with leading organizations, including PSINet and KPNQwest, established De Belfabriek because he could no longer subscribe to the traditional business model that holds stockholder value above innovation and service. After discarding his golden handcuffs, Hallema decided on a different approach – an approach that focused fully on the client. This choice proved very successful. The company’s client-driven vision and unrelenting focus on quality and service are held in high esteem by a loyal and rapidly expanding client-portfolio.
